In developing the brand identity for BODi LAVA, our team aimed to create a program that stood out by offering a dynamic fusion of power yoga, primal movement, and bodyweight strength training. We also knew we had a unique opportunity to capitalize on the equipment-free aspect, given the program's Summer launch timing when people are traveling, on-the-go, and need a way to stay consistent without constant access to a gym. The branding needed to reflect both the intensity of the workouts and the freedom of being able to take BODi LAVA anywhere.
Messaging & Tone: The messaging was designed to be bold, high-energy, and empowering—reflecting both the nonstop movement of the workouts and the athletic nature of the program. Elise Joan’s coaching style is dynamic and motivating, so we ensured the tone reinforced the idea that BODi LAVA wasn’t just about keeping up with fitness, but about pushing limits, moving freely, and feeling powerful in your own body.
Visual Identity & Set Design: The visual elements were designed to convey intensity and fluidity, mirroring the program's blend of dynamic movements. We utilized an athletic color palette and sharp typography to capture attention and inspire action. Imagery focused on Elise performing the workouts in minimalist settings, reinforcing the idea that participants can achieve results without the need for elaborate equipment or spaces.
Emotional & Industry Impact: We recognized that many consumers struggle to stay consistent with their workouts due to travel, shifting schedules, and limited access to gym equipment. BODi LAVA removed those barriers—offering an efficient, effective, and portable workout that fit seamlessly into any routine. The emotional appeal wasn’t just about getting stronger—it was about maintaining momentum, feeling empowered, and proving to yourself that movement is always possible, no matter where you are.
